3. Farmed Salmon

Salmon is a part of a healthy diet but farmed salmon is toxic to the health. Unlike wild salmon, farmed salmon is fed with a cocktail of feeds that are not a part of the fish’s natural diet. These feeds include hydrolyzed chicken feathers and poultry dung. Worse, the fishes are crammed in small pens and raised in an unsanitary environment.

As a result, farmed salmon has very little nutritional value and packed with cancer-causing compounds and other contaminants. Meats from farmed salmon also contain a high level of antibiotics and pesticides.
