1. Plumcot

Plumcot is a hybrid fruit that is a cross between a plum and an apricot. This variety of hybrid fruit is the predecessor of plouts. Plouts are the first-generation hybrids of plum and apricots.

The plumcot shares the same attributes as plums than apricots. At’s about the same size as a regular plum. The rind is smooth and soft much like a plum. A pine berry is a combination of a strawberry native to Hawaii and North/South America and the common strawberry. This fruit is a cross between a Duncan grapefruit and a Dancy tangerine. A regular tangelo is about the same size as an adult’s fist. It has a sweet, tangerine taste and juicy flesh. The tangelo has a bright orange rind and a “nipple” at the stem.
