Do you suffer from blotchy, blemished skin? You can use tamarind pulp to even out the skin tone and achieve luminosity. Tamarind pulp is traditionally used to lighten the skin tone. It contains mild fruit acids that will fade acne marks, blemishes and even freckles.

To use tamarind to even out the skin tone soak 30 grams of tamarind in hot water for 10 minutes. Extract the pulp in a clean glass and mix half a teaspoon of turmeric powder. Apply the pulp on clean face and leave it on for 15 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry.

2. Restores Radiance

Just mix a teaspoon of rock salt to an equal amount of tamarind extract on a clean bowl. Add a teaspoon of whole milk or yogurt. Mix all ingredients together and apply on cleansed skin. Gently work the mixture onto the skin. Then, rinse with tepid water. Pat dry and follow up with a hydrating face cream for best results.

Apply the mixture directly on the affected area and leave it on for at least 15 minutes. Do this periodically until the skin tone is even.

You can use tamarind to make cellulite less visible. Cellulites are unsightly layers of fat underneath the skin. Just mix two teaspoon of fresh tamarind extract with a teaspoon of sugar and lemon juice. Add half a teaspoon of baking soda and mix well. Apply the paste on the affected area. Work the mixture into circular motions.
