Kratom is a type of evergreen tree that belongs to the Rubiaceae family. This plant is native to Southeast Asia. Kratom is traditionally used as a natural remedy for a variety of conditions as well as a tea to uplift the mood.

Kratom is banned in most Asian countries because of its psychoactive effects similar to opium. In fact, Kratom is banned in Thailand despite the fact that this plant is abundant in the country. The active ingredients of kratom are similar to morphine. As such, kratom is often used to treat chronic pains and aches. Because of its psychoactive effects, the drawbacks of taking kratom include psychosis, hallucinations, convulsions, confusion, dizziness and chest pain. Other side effects include profuse sweating, vomiting, and nausea. Kratom is typically sold in powder and tea form.

Apart from easing common aches and pain, kratom also soothes migraines and most types of headaches. It eases back pain, arthritic pain, pain due to carpal tunnel syndrome, torn muscles, neck pain and abdominal pains. It also relieves multiple sclerosis pains, chest pain and back pain from scoliosis.

Kratom is also used to reduce withdrawal symptoms among drug addicts. This plant works to uplift the mood, and reduce opiate withdrawal. It also reduces the risk of depression and anxiety. Kratom also energizes the body while strengthening the immune system.

The kratom plant is loaded with antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, and phytochemicals. As such, it helps strengthen the body, nourish the cells and improve general health. The antioxidants in kratom help neutralize the effects of free radicals in the cells.

As the name implies, this plant is grown in Bali, Indonesia. It is the most popular of all strains of kratom. Authentic Bali kratom is typically high in quality and potency. It generates balanced health benefits and effects. The plant can be used as a sedative or as a stimulant.

Maeng Da Kratom

This product is derived from Thailand-grown kratom plant. It has strong effects because of the concentrated levels of active compounds. Usually, Maeng Da kratom is used as a stimulant. It energizes the body while boosting mental alertness. Because it is potent, Maeng Da kratom might be too strong for most people. Always start with a small dose to determine an ideal amount to use.

Wildcraft Kratom

This product is derived from kratom grown in the rainforests of Indonesia. Also known as the Red Vein, wildcraft kratom contains higher mitragynine, which is the main alkaloids in kratom. It has a strong psychoactive effect but is cheaper than other types of kratom.
