Tired of dealing with sparse, thin lashes that are prone to breaking? Although there are treatments that could boost lash thickness and volume, there are ways to achieve longer lashes without spending a dime! In today’s post, we are revealing some of the best all-natural lash treatments found in your kitchen:
Fruit and Nut Oils
All types of natural oils will improve the volume and thickness of the lashes. Avocado oil, jojoba oil, sweet almond oil, argan oil, olive oil, sunflower oil, sesame oil, and even canola oil contain nutrients that improve the strength and length of the lashes. These nutrients make the hair follicles resistant to breakage and damage.
Just apply a small amount of the oil on your lashes before sleeping at night. You will wake up to thicker, lush lashes in the morning, we promise. Use any of these natural oils every night for best results.
Green Tea
Green tea is an excellent lash grower! This tea is high in antioxidants, caffeine, and flavonoids that stimulate lash growth. Green tea effectively stimulates re-growth of lashes too.

To use green tea as a lash grower, just prepare a cup of unsweetened tea and let it cool. Saturate a cotton ball with the tea and dab from the roots to the tips of the lashes. Leave it on for 15 minutes before rinsing with cold water. Do this twice daily for 2 to 3 months for best results.
Aloe Vera
Aloe vera contains soothing botanicals that thicken the lashes. It will nourish the hair follicle from roots to tips, strengthening the structure of the lashes. Aloe vera gel contains potent vitamins that improve the growth of the lashes, making them resistant to breakage. Dryness is one of the most common causes of weak, sparse lashes. Aloe vera boosts the moisture level deep within the follicles to make each hair strand stronger, pliable.
To use aloe vera gel as a lash treatment, snap off an aloe vera stem and slice it in the middle with a knife. Get a spoon to scoop out the fresh gel. Get a clean mascara wand and dip it into the gel. Now comb the mascara wand over the lashes, working the gel in from roots to tips. Leave the gel on overnight and rinse with cold water in the morning. Do this every night before you go to bed for best results.
Egg
Eggs are high in nutrients that keep the hair and lashes healthy such as protein, vitamin B, and biotin. These nutrients improve the texture of the lashes and reduce breakage.
To use eggs as a lash treatment, beat one egg and add a tablespoon of glycerin in a clean bowl. Get a cotton swab, dip it in the egg solution and apply directly to the lashes. Leave it on for at least 15 minutes then rinse with water. Do this two times daily for a couple of months for best results.
Coconut Milk
Coconut milk is packed with beneficial fats and protein that promote thicker hair and stronger nails. All these nutrients promote the growth and/or regrowth of the eyelashes too!
To use coconut milk as a lash treatment, dip a cotton ball in cold coconut milk. Apply the milk on the lashes and leave it on for 10 minutes. Rinse with cold water. Do this once or twice daily for 2 months for best results.
