Nothing like dressing to make any salad complete! A salad dressing brings out the flavor of the salad and makes it more palatable to fussy eaters. Depending on the ingredients, salad dressings contain healthy fats such as omega-6 fatty acids and essential vitamins too. Creamy Caesar Dressing

You will need:

One egg yolk at room temperature
2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
1/3 cup good olive oil
1/2 teaspoon mustard
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
2 garlic cloves, finely crushed
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
2 Tablespoons Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

In a clean bowl, whisk the egg yolk. You can also use a blender to whisk the egg on the lowest setting. Once the egg yolk becomes creamy, add all the other ingredients except the olive oil and blend gradually until creamy. Then, add the oil as you stir the dressing and you’re done.

Classic Italian Dressing

You will need:

3 Tablespoons white wine vinegar
½ teaspoon Dijon mustard
¼ cup olive oil
½ teaspoon onion powder
1-2 cloves finely minced garlic
½ teaspoon thyme,
½  teaspoon basil
½  teaspoon oregano
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

In a small jar, add all the ingredients together and close the lid. Shake the jar vigorously. Add to your favorite green salad and enjoy!

Greek Dressing

You will need:

½ cup good olive oil
2 Tablespoons red wine vinegar
½ teaspoon Dijon mustard
½ teaspoon oregano
½  teaspoon marjoram
Salt and pepper to taste
1 clove garlic, crushed
½ teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions:

In a clean jar, mix all the ingredients and close the lid. Shake the jar vigorously to incorporate all the ingredients.  Add to your favorite dark green salads or onion salads and enjoy!

Asian Dressing

You will need:

1/3 cup olive oil
3 Tablespoons apple cider vinegar
2 teaspoons coconut aminos
2 teaspoons raw honey
½ teaspoon fresh ginger root, finely grated
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

In a clean jar, mix all the ingredients and close the lid. Shake the jar vigorously to incorporate all the ingredients.  Add to your favorite spinach salad and enjoy!

Raspberry Vinaigrette Dressing

You will need:

½ cup white wine vinegar
¼ cup olive oil
¼ cup fresh or frozen raspberries
2 teaspoons raw honey

Instructions:

Using a blender or a food processor, mix all the ingredients together until you get a nice and smooth sauce. Pour the mixture over grilled chicken salad or salad with feta cheese and enjoy!

Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing

You will need:

½ cup olive oil
1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
One clove of garlic, finely minced
½ teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 Tablespoon raw honey (optional)
Salt, pepper and a pinch of ground basil to taste

Instructions:

In a blender, add all ingredients together and blend to achieve a smooth consistency. Pour the dressing to any type of salad. You can also use this dressing as a marinade on pork, beef and chicken!

Classic French Dressing

You will need:

½ teaspoon mustard
1 tablespoon organic tomato paste
1/3 cup olive oil
¼ cup white wine vinegar
1 tablespoon raw honey (optional)
½ teaspoon onion powder

Instructions:

In a blender, add all ingredients together and blend until you get a smooth consistency. Pour the dressing to chef salad or green salad and enjoy!
