Side Effects and Precaution

This product is not recommended for those who are sensitive to menthol, eucalyptus or pepper oil. In addition, this product also contains paraffin and Cetearath 20.

Cetearath 20 is a chemical that allows a cosmetic product to sink into the skin deeply. Its structure is a mixture of cetyl and stearyl alcohol and ethylene oxide. This chemical is categorized as a moderate to severe health hazard. As such, Cetearath 20 is only limited in use as an ingredient in cosmetic products. It can cause skin irritation and damaged skin. It’s also linked to cancer. Studies show that Cetearath 20 has the potential link to breast cancer.

On the other hand, paraffin wax is derived from mineral oil. As such, it is categorized as a petroleum product. Studies show that paraffin, when applied on the skin, can accumulate in the breast tissues and human breast milk. Health experts also believe that this chemical is one of the largest contaminants in the human body. Although paraffin is not toxic to the health, it can cause skin irritation.

This cream is unsafe for pregnant women and nursing mothers. It is also unsafe to use among very young children. Deva krem should not be applied directly on open wounds and burns. This product is only recommended for external use. It is not meant to treat a specific ailment or disease.

Because of its potentially irritating chemical content, this product should not be used without consulting your doctor first. This goes especially for patients with sensitive skin or those who are allergic to chemical-based cosmetics.
