You don’t have to spend a lot of cash on better skin and hair! For centuries, all natural beauty remedies have been used to address a wide range of personal care concerns. And if you do not want to spend a dime on an expensive face cream again, then whip up these easy to follow beauty remedies at home:

Green Tea for Eye Bags

Dealing with dark, puffy eyes? Banish hyperpigmentation and look well rested by using green tea! Just get a couple of green tea bags of your choice and soak it in cold water. Squeeze the tea bag a little to remove excess water and apply directly on the eyes. Close your eyes and leave the tea bags on for 5 minutes. The coldness of the tea bag will shrink the blood vessels to de-puff the peepers. The antioxidants in green tea help reduce the signs of aging and reduce hyperpigmentation.

Mayo Mask for Dry, Dull Hair

Are your tresses looking dry and dull from constant styling? This easy-peasy hair mask will restore your hair’s natural luster in just one wash. In a clean bowl, mix an egg yolk with a tablespoon of mayonnaise, 1/4 teaspoon avocado oil, 2 tablespoons olive oil and mix very well. Apply a dollop on dry hair and cover your tresses with a shower cap. Leave the mask on for 30 minutes and shampoo as usual.

DIY Lip Scrub for Flaky, Dry Lips

Dry lips are the worst, especially during the winter season. Our gentle lip exfoliating recipe will banish flakes and prevent painful cracking! In a clean mixing bowl, combine a tablespoon of white sugar with 1-teaspoon raw cacao powder and equal parts raw honey. Mix well and dab a small amount on the lips. In a gentle, circular motion, rub the lip scrub to remove dead skin cells. Rinse with water and say hello to smooth, petal-soft smackers!

DIY Body Scrub for Clear, Even Skin

Dealing with dark spots? This super easy body scrub recipe will lighten the skin tone, even out the complexion, and restore luminosity. Heat 1/2 cup extra virgin coconut oil in the microwave. Once melted, add about 1/2 cup sugar and a good squeeze of 1 whole lemon. Mix the ingredients very well and apply directly all over the body. The coconut oil will moisturize the skin deeply while the brown sugar sloughs off dead skin cells. The skin-friendly fruit acids in lemon extract will lighten the skin and fade dark marks!

Luxurious Face Mask for Thirsty Skin

Dry skin is one of the most common skin issues during the winter season. A luxurious facemask is a great way to add a boost of moisture to the skin. To make your own hydrating face mask, mash a ripe banana. Add 2 tablespoons of heavy cream, about 1 and a half tablespoon of raw honey, flour, and a tablespoon of water to make a loose paste. Apply on freshly cleansed face and leave on for 10 minutes. Rinse with tepid water and follow up with a good moisturizer for best results!
