How to Lose Weight in Seven Days

Unfortunately, those who want to lose more tend to stick to rapid weight loss diets to achieve their goal weight.  This is not only unhealthy, it can also lead to yo-yo dieting. The good news is, you can lose weight, achieve a more slender frame without depriving yourself. In today’s post, we are giving you diet tips to help you lose weight in seven days or less:

Drink More Water

Instead of drinking energy drinks, frappes or fruit smoothies, stick to plain water. Most energy drinks contain more than 100 calories. Fruit smoothies are notoriously high in sugar and carbohydrates and so is beer. Plain water contains zero calories. It will flush out toxins and sodium buildup in the body, cleansing the system while lubricating the intestines. Drinking water will also rev-start your metabolic rate!

Shun Processed Flour and Grains

Banning white rice, white bread, white pasta from your diet will do wonders for your figure. These foods are loaded with simple carbohydrates. Too many carbs can cause the blood sugar level to dip and spike, causing bloating among other digestive discomforts. Unfortunately, when the blood sugar level is unstable, it will lead to intense cravings, leading to overeating. Instead of consuming processed flour and grains, turn to whole wheat and unprocessed nuts and grains. These foods burn slow and they are packed with more nutrients. Eating unprocessed foods can lead to gradual weight loss, less sugar cravings and a stable blood sugar level.

Do Cardio 30 Minutes Every Day

Cardio workout will blast fat and increase the heart rate. When you burn off more calories, you will lose a lot of weight! Cardio exercises also target various muscle groups, allowing you to sculpt your frame and achieve a healthy, slender body! We suggest boot camp workouts or HIIT to tighten the body and torch more fat!

Coffee as Pre-Exercise Drink

There’s nothing wrong with drinking a cup of black coffee before a morning run or hitting the gym! As a stimulant, coffee will energize the body. It will boost endurance and improve productivity. You are more likely to lose more weight when you drink a cup of coffee an hour before your workout. To keep your caloric consumption in check, stick to a cup of plain black coffee every day.

Do Pushups and Lunges Thrice Per Week

To keep the whole body tight, toned and strong, do several reps of lunges and pushups every other day. Pushups boost upper body strength and tone the arms. Lunges will tone the legs and sculpt the butt. Both exercises will improve muscle tone and slim down the waistline! Because they do not require fancy gym equipment, you can do these moves in the comfort of your own home.

Get a lot of Sleep!

Did you know sleep-deprivation is one of the top causes of overeating? When you don’t get enough sleep, the body craves more sugar. This leads to overeating and unhealthy snacking! Worse, sleeping late gives the body less time to re-build itself! We recommend getting at least 8 hours of sleep daily for a trimmer, more slender body.
