If you have foods that are high in sugar in your cabinet, you’re going to be tempted. Clean out your cabinets and remove foods with empty sugar calories such as cookies and cakes. Don’t forget the freezer where that sweet ice cream is hiding out. Reducing temptation is half of the battle.
Change your grocery shopping strategy.
Plan on substituting fresh fruit and yogurt for the sugary treats you previously enjoyed. These foods can satisfy your sweet tooth while helping to stop sugar addiction. Make a list before heading to the grocery store and stick with it. Otherwise, you may be tempted to add a box of cupcakes to your cart.
