If you’re still fighting the good fight against aging then you’re probably familiar with anti-aging serums. Unlike day or night moisturizers that simply hydrate the skin, serums are packed with nutrients that protect the skin from aging. Serums work deeper into the skin to reveal clear, glowing, wrinkle-free skin!

Unfortunately, serums are more expensive than your average moisturizers. Most serums are made with special oils and plant extracts to defy aging, restore glow, and hasten cell renewal.

The good news is that you don’t need to spend a small fortune on face serums. You can make them at home! These all-natural, anti-aging serums contain ingredients that you can find in your pantry or local health food store. Whip out any of our anti-aging serum recipe to help restore youthfulness to your skin:

For Soft, Glowing Skin

You will need:

¼ oz Jojoba Oil
¼ oz Evening Primrose Oil
¼ oz pomegranate oil
15 drops Vitamin E
20 drops lavender oil or frankincense oil
10 drops Carrot Seed Oil
A disinfected dark-colored glass bottle with dropper

Directions

On a clean mixing bowl, incorporate all the essential oils. Transfer the serum in a dark glass bottle. This helps protect the potency of the ingredients. You will need to disinfect the dark bottle by dunking it for at least three minutes in boiling water. This anti-aging serum is best applied at nighttime right before you go to sleep. Spread several drops of the serum on the face, neck, and chest. You will wake up to glowing, younger-looking skin in the morning!

For Clear, Luminous Skin

You will need:

½ tsp Vitamin C Powder
1 tablespoon distilled water or 2 tablespoons vegetable glycerin
A disinfected dark-colored glass bottle with dropper

Directions

In a clean mixing bowl, dissolve the vitamin C powder in distilled water. If you’re using vegetable glycerin, add a teaspoon of distilled water and mix the ingredients thoroughly. On a clean, disinfected dark bottle, transfer the liquid. The dark bottle will protect the vitamin C from oxidizing. Store the bottle in the fridge to preserve its efficacy.

Just add a couple of drops of this serum on your face, neck, and chest area to hasten cell renewal, revealing clear, luminous skin.

For Intense Hydration

You will need:

4 teaspoons rose hip seed oil
2 teaspoons hemp seed oil
6 drops of rosewood essential oil
A disinfected dark-colored glass bottle with dropper

Directions

In a clean mixing bowl, incorporate all ingredients. Rose hip oil helps restore radiance, hemp seed oil is an effective anti-aging ingredient, while rosewood has powerful regenerating and rejuvenating properties.

Store the mixture in a dark-colored bottle and add a couple of drops on your face during the evening right before taking a bath. Massage onto skin for several seconds until fully absorbed then follow up with your favorite night moisturizer.

For Mature Skin

You will need:

2 tablespoons Macadamia nut oil
½ tablespoon Meadowfoam seed oil
10 drops Frankincense Essential Oil
10 drops Lavender Essential Oil
5 drops Myrtle Essential Oil
A disinfected dark-colored glass bottle with dropper

Directions

Incorporate all ingredients in a clean mixing bowl. Mix the ingredients thoroughly before transferring to a disinfected brown-colored glass bottle. Macadamia nut oil contains antioxidants that protect the skin from cell damage. Meadowfoam seed oil is a powerful anti-aging essential oil that softens and moisturizes mature skin. Frankincense and lavender oils help balance the PH of the skin and soothe irritated skin.
