Getting Enough Sleep

You need full, uninterrupted 8 hours of sleep to maintain the youthful appearance of your skin! Chronic sleep deprivation, stress or depression could lead to wrinkling. When sleep is interrupted, the muscles underneath facial skin contracts. This causes fine lines on the forehead and around the mouth. Make it a habit to sleep early every night to banish wrinkles.

Your Pillow

Did you know sleeping on the sides or stomach could cause premature wrinkles? That’s right, the pillow’s fabric causes friction, leading to wrinkles. Those who sleep on their backs are lucky! These products also dissolve the skin’s natural oils and fats. This leads to dry, lackluster skin. It also causes premature aging.

Hydration

Drinking more than 8 glasses of water can prevent premature aging. Applying moisturizer right after cleansing also keeps the skin younger looking. Here’s a tip: apply moisturizer on still-damp skin. This helps the cream absorb faster and locks in moisture deep into the skin!

Wear Sunscreen

Most dermatologists agree, sunblock is the real fountain of youth. The sun’s harsh UVA/UVB rays cause blemishes, age spots, wrinkles, and saggy skin. Always wear a sunscreen when heading out. And don’t skip the sunblock even if it’s cloudy outside. UVB rays could penetrate clouds!
